Mylene has a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering (Air Quality) from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea. She obtained her MSc in Environmental Science from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, and a Bachelors in Chemistry, also from the same university. She had her stint as an Air Quality Specialist at Clean Air Asia, where she concentrates on local and international projects such as Dispersion Modelling of particulate matter in Metro Manila, Air Quality programs for smaller cities, and the Breathe Easy Jakarta Air Quality Interventions program. She has authored and co-authored various scientific journals, studies and publications on air quality research and management.
