Dr Hasyyati Shabrina is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram, Indonesia, where she heads the Magister of Dryland Agriculture in the Graduate Program. Her expertise spans forest ecology, biodiversity conservation, forest genetics and biotechnology, and sustainable forest resource management. Her research focuses on vegetation ecology, forest rehabilitation, genetic diversity, molecular biotechnology, biodiversity assessment and community-based forest management.
