Ms Eni Hidayati is a faculty member in the Forestry Study Programme at the University of Mataram, Indonesia. Her research interests focus on gender–environment interactions, mangrove restoration and environmental governance. She is particularly interested in the research–action interface and in connecting research with conservation practice. Eni has worked as a Research Fellow with CIFOR-ICRAF and on an AF-EU-UNDP AFCIA-funded project promoting equitable and inclusive resilience in coastal communities. A Fulbright scholar, she holds an MSc from the State University of New York and an MPhil in Conservation Leadership from the University of Cambridge.
