Prof. Dr Win Kyi is a Director of the Myanmar Environment Institute, with over 10 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and biodiversity and ecological surveys. His expertise includes ecosystem services, biodiversity, land cover analysis and river ecosystems, and his current research focuses on river basin conservation and management. He has served as a consultant on the World Bank-funded Environmental and Social Assessment of Ayeyarwady River Stretch 1 and the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Pan Hlaing River Sluice project. He holds a PhD in biology from Yangon University.
