Dr Reni Suwarso is a faculty member at the Department of Political Science, University of Indonesia. She co-led the Governance research for the Australia Indonesia Centre Urban Water Cluster, which developed socio-technical leapfrogging pathways for Bogor, Indonesia. She was the Senior fellow for the Partnerships for Australia and Indonesia Research program in Makassar, South Sulawesi. She is currently a Principal Co-Investigator for the Citarum action research program in collaboration with Monash and collaborating with the University of Warwick on gender-related challenges in informal settlements. She was a recipient of the Researcher links Climate Challenge Fund – British Council in 2021.
