The 2nd 3R International Scientific Conference on Material Cycles and Waste Management (3RINCs) is set on 21-23 May 2015 at Daejeon Convention Center, Daejeon, Republic of Korea.
This conference aims to serve as an open academic platform for scientifically and academically based presentations from all stakeholders in the management of material cycles and waste management, including product designers, operators, suppliers, environmental authorities, and academics all over the world. In line with this, the conference is inviting submission of abstracts of research and studies on the following fields:
- 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycling) challenges
- Waste and recycling resource statistics and data collection and processing
- MSW characterization and management
- Biomass waste utilization
- E-waste recycling and management
- ELV (end-of-life vehicle) recycling and management
- Construction and demolition waste
- Waste to energy
- Industrial waste characterization and management
- Disaster waste and marine debris management
- Hazardous waste management
- Asbestos
- Radioactive contaminated waste and low-level radioactive waste
- Waste landfill and disposal
- Greenhouse gas control and waste management
- Systems analysis, life cycle analysis, substance flow analysis, and others
- Policy, institutions, and financial measures
The 2nd 3RINCs is organised by academic societies of Asian and Pacific countries, including the Korea Society of Waste Management (KSWM), Japan Society of Material Cycles and Waste Management (JSMCWM), Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (SSW-CSES) and other regional and global networks.
