Ms Zainab Gulisthan is a Project Coordinator at the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, Maldives, where she coordinates the formulation of the Maldives’ National Adaptation Plan. She has over 15 years of experience as an environmental and climate change project management professional and has previously coordinated several national programmes focused on enhancing institutional capacities and national systems and formulating plans for climate action in the Maldives. Her work involves close collaboration with stakeholders and the management of multidisciplinary teams across government, the private sector and international partners. Ms Gulisthan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the University of London International Programme.
