Dr Yuvaraj Dinakarkumar is a Professor of Biotechnology at Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai, India, with over 20 years of experience in marine biology, biotechnology, research and academic leadership. He holds a PhD in Marine Biology from Annamalai University and has expertise in marine biotechnology, sustainable aquaculture, marine bioresources, environmental remediation and waste valorisation. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 research and review publications and contributed to patent applications and scholarly book chapters. His research focuses on sustainable utilisation of marine resources, environmental conservation and innovative biotechnological approaches to address emerging environmental challenges
