Dr Wita Yulianti is a junior researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. She began her career as an assistant in several laboratories at Andalas University and was actively involved in achieving both academic and non-academic achievements. She has successfully obtained a full scholarship from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for master’s and doctoral studies and received a PhD from Tokyo Metropolitan University. Consistent research studies related to invasive species, from undergraduate to doctoral studies in Japan, have led to her obtaining several funding sources for both research and prestigious training at international levels. Currently, she is actively conducting comprehensive research that combines control efforts with the utilisation of invasive species for stabilizing the environment and meeting community needs.
