Thanh Nguyen-Xuan

Dr. Thanh Nguyen-Xuan is currently a lecturer at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, specializing in meteorology and numerical modeling. He is also a permanent member of the Remote sEnsing and MOdeling of Surface and ATmosphere (REMOSAT) (http://remosat.usth.edu.vn/index.php). Dr. Thanh Nguyen-Xuan possesses extensive experience in handling meteorological data and conducting statistical and dynamical downscaling, focusing particular on simulating processes and impacts related to urban environments. He has recently published papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as convection-permitting scale downscaling using regional climate modeling (RCM) and the integration of urban canopy models in RCMs.
