Dr Tamiji Yamamoto is a Professor Emeritus of Hiroshima University (HU), and now the CTO of his consulting company. His expertise is dynamical modelling of biological and chemical processes in aquatic ecosystems from freshwater reservoirs to coastal seas. He was awarded The Oceanographic Society of Japan Award, The Japanese Society of Fisheries Oceanography Award, and The Japanese Society of Fisheries Science Award. He has also received The Commendation for Science and Technology by the MEXT, and The HU President’s Award. He is also an invited research scientist at The University of British Columbia and Dalhousie University in Canada, Cawthron Institute in New Zealand and WU, UK.
