Sophie McKenzie’s teaching and research intersect to explore ways in which the student experience can be supported through career development, IT assisted learning, cyber security and augmented and virtual reality. She is a lab leader for the immersive technologies group and a theme lead for promoting cybersafe behaviours in the research centre Deakin Cyber. Her research profile supports her evidenced based approach to a developmental approach in supporting student achievement, along with ways to effectively use digital technologies in the classroom.
