Dr. Nguyen Quoc Son is an environment and water resources specialist. He graduated with Master of Biogeochemical and Ecological Processes in Hydrosystems at University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) in 2014, and received his PhD in Hydrology at University Montpellier II in 2019. He is a senior expert in the field of environment management/hydrology with 10 years of working experience.

He has been involved in working with hydrological modelling, remote sensing and machine learning applied to the environment field. Moreover, he has worked for various consultancy projects including national government funded projects and ADB, WB .etc. in the field of hydrological/hydraulic structure, climate change and disaster risk management and other relevant fields of water environment. He also participated in the project of developing integrated flood management plans for three basin rivers Ba, Nha Trang-Cai and Ninh Hoa-Cai in Vietnam.
