Dr Siriporn Pradit is an Associate Professor at the Marine and Coastal Resources Institute, Faculty of Environmental Management, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai, Songkhla, Thailand. She worked at the Southeast Asia Fisheries Development Center/Training Department, Thailand, as a researcher onboard MV SEAFDEC research and training vessel, studying the physical aspects and chemistry of seawater and bottom sediment of the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean. She has worked at Prince of Songkla University since 2009. Her researches are mainly about studying the biogeochemistry of trace elements, marine litter and microplastic in the marine ecosystem.
