Prof. Dr. Sigit Supadmo Arif is a professor at the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, specializing in irrigation and drainage engineering. He is renowned for his contributions to irrigation management and modernization, particularly in developing Indonesia’s five pillars of irrigation modernization. Prof. Sigit earned his Ph.D. in Irrigation & Drainage Engineering from Central Luzon State University, Philippines. He has collaborated with international researchers and institutions, offering consultancy and research services. His work includes advancing irrigation information systems like SIPASI, promoting clean irrigation, and contributes with publications on topics such as hydraulic performance, land use analysis, and seasonal rainfall patterns.
