Dr Shike Gao is a Lecturer at Shanghai Ocean University. He received his PhD in Agriculture from Shanghai Ocean University in 2023 and has research experience at the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on marine pollution, particularly microplastic pollution, environmental fate and transport, and ecological risks in coastal and marine ecosystems. He also works on marine ranching ecosystems, artificial reef ecology, and marine ecological restoration. He has published more than 30 SCI papers and co-authored 2 academic books.
