Dr Shih-Chun Candice Lung is an environmental health scientist, studying environmental factors which affect human health. She got her Sc.D. from the School of Public Health at Harvard University, USA. She is currently a Research Fellow and Deputy Director at the Research Center for Environmental Changes, Academia Sinica, and Deputy Executive Secretary of the Center for Sustainability Science, Academia Sinica. Her current research focuses on two scientifically important and societally relevant issues: (1) PM2.5 and health and (2) climate change and health adaptation. She is currently leading an Asian research initiative: Health Investigation and Air Sensing for Asian Pollution (Hi-ASAP).
