Dr Lo Sewn Cen is the Research Impact and Engagement Manager at Monash University Malaysia, with a research background in sustainable biotechnology. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia. Her research interests include enzymatic plastic biodegradation, bioprocessing, biotransformation and sustainable waste upcycling. She has led and contributed to industry-linked research projects translating bioprocessing technologies into practical applications that support the circular bioeconomy. Dr Lo is committed to advancing sustainability-focused research to support net-zero carbon goals and drive regional research impact.
