Sarah Moroianu (PhD) is a natural products researcher specializing in antimicrobial plants. Her degree is in plant biology, with a focus on natural products and human health, which she received from Rutgers University in 2022. At Rutgers University, Dr. Moroianu joined the Global Institute of BioExploration (GIBEX) as their head instructor and lead scientist (2017- 2022). During that time Dr. Moroianu has mentored students pursuing antimicrobial plant research around the world. Today, Dr. Moroianu serves as the microbiology lecturer at Lehman College, NY.
