Dr Rajdeep Dutta is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Aquatic Environment Management, Faculty of Fisheries Science, Assam Agricultural University, Raha, Nagaon. He earned his M.F.Sc. degree in Fisheries Environment from Tamilnadu Veterinary University, Chennai, India and awarded PhD by the University of Gauhati for his thesis ‘Hydrobiology & fishery potential of Namsang (Chatju) stream in Arunachal Pradesh’. Dr Dutta is involved in River Ecology, Aquatic pollution, Fish Biodiversity & Conservation studies for the past 15 years. At present, he is working as Principal Investigator of 3 research projects funded by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Govt. of India and Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
