Ir Dr Praveena Nair Sivasankaran directs the Clean Technology Impact Lab at Taylor’s University, Malaysia. A Professional Engineer with a PhD in Materials Engineering from Universiti Malaya, she brings students, researchers, industry and communities together to address water security, circular economy and climate resilience. Her work integrates student learning with community projects, translating engineering knowledge into practical solutions and strengthening local capacity. A TEDx speaker and newspaper columnist, she has addressed university and conference audiences across India, Indonesia, Lithuania and Macau, China, including Times Higher Education forums. She also contributes to Malaysian national print and broadcast media.
