Dr Pavel S. Borodavko is a Leading Researcher of the Institute of Monitoring of Climatic and Ecological Systems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Associate Professor of the Geology and Geography Faculty of Tomsk State University. The scientific activity of Dr Borodavko is related to the study of the Quaternary evolution of lakes and glacial systems of Inner Asia. He provides scientific guidance to Master and PhD students of Tomsk State University, gives lecture courses “Geomorphology” and “Geoinformation systems” to students of Geology and Geography Faculty of Tomsk State University and is the laureate of numerous national and international awards for contribution to study of modern climate-driven changes in the natural environment.
