Mr Nick A Jabagat is the Department Manager of Cagayan de Oro City’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department. As a former Unit Chief of Urban Search and Rescue, he brought technical expertise and leadership that led the department to top recognition in resiliency competitions.

He completed specialised training with the Australian Agency for International Development, the University of the Philippines, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the Development Academy of the Philippines, and the National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. His dedication to resilience and innovation continues to improve the city’s disaster preparedness and emergency response systems.
