Dr Thai is a Vice President of Thuyloi University, Vietnam, in charge of International Cooperation, Scientific and Technologies. He has more than 30 years of serving in companies, institutes, and universities, both in Vietnam and Japan. His speciality is dam engineering, application of finite element method in the numerical model. He is the author of several computer software such as slope stability analysis.
