Mr Ngawang Chojey has a BSc. in Sustainable Development from the College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan in 2018. Currently, he is a research officer at Jigme Namgyel Engineering College. Before joining JNEC, he worked as a Program Officer in Samdrup Jongkhar Initiative (SJI), one of the Non-Profit Organizations (NGO) whose motive was to educate farmers on organic Agriculture and Zero Waste. His research interest or majors are in Sustainable Agriculture Production, Sustainable Animal Production, Climate Change, Natural Resource Economics, Research and Project Management.
