Dr Nares Chuersuwan is currently an Associate Professor and Head of the Research Department at the Institute of Public Health, Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. He earned both of his M.S. and PhD degrees in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA. Dr Nares has been involved in pollution science research for more than 20 years. His research on PM2.5 in 2003 – 2004 was the basis for implementing PM2.5 ambient standard in Thailand in 2010. He has participated in the UNEP on BAT/BEP and is a lead author in the previous IPCC emission inventory guideline.
