Namgay Tenzin

Mr Namgay Tenzin, Associate Lecturer, Electrical Engineering Department, College of Science and Technology; Royal University of Bhutan, Rinchending, Phuentsholing, Bhutan. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from College of Science and Technology (CST), Royal University of Bhutan (RUB), Bhutan in 2015; Master of Technology Degree in Alternate Hydro Energy Systems from Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy (Formerly known as Alternate Hydro Energy Centre), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India in 2019. Presently he is working as an Associate Lecturer under Electrical Engineering Department, CST, RUB, Bhutan since September 2015 and as Centre Coordinator for Centre for Renewable and Sustainable Energy Development since March 2020. He is also a member of the College Research Committee of CST and the College Publication Committee, CST. His research area includes integration of renewable energy to grid, distributed generation, small hydropower, smart grid, solar and wind power system stability analysis along with integrated solutions to address human-wildlife conflicts.
