Ir. Dr Khairolden has been with the Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM) since 2007, a research arm of the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Built Environment, a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, and is a registered Professional Engineer and Technologist. An Adjunct Professor at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, he serves on academic and advisory panels at multiple universities. His expertise covers sustainable construction, green building, digitalisation, and facility management. He has participated in national committees and judging panels, receiving the 2025 Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Distinguished Industry Practitioner Award.
