She serves as an assistant director of works at the Nile Water Sector, the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. She has more than 8 years of working experience in hydraulics, hydrology, irrigation systems, and numerical modeling. She is now a PhD student at the Disaster Prevention Research Institute of Kyoto University where she examines climate and human influence on geomorphology of the Vietnamese Mekong Delta.
