Dr Long Hoang is an interdisciplinary specialist and researcher on international water management and climate change adaptation. He has 12+ years of experience in international advisory and research projects under different roles: Researcher, Lecturer, Technical and Policy Advisor, Project Coordinator, and Business Developer. His work combines science, communication, and advocacy and is strongly network-centric with projects in Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, India); Latin America (Colombia); Africa (Ghana and Mozambique), and the EU. He has a PhD in catchment hydrological modelling and designing adaptation options in the Mekong River Delta from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Dr Long Hoang is a senior researcher on climate-smart agriculture at the School of Interdisciplinary Studies – Vietnam National University Hanoi and an adjunct postdoc researcher at the Water System and Global Change group at Wageningen University.
