Kirtan Adhikari holds a position as an associate lecturer at the Royal University of Bhutan’s College of Science and Technology. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2019 with a master’s in technology in hydrology after being awarded an ITEC-Colombo scholarship. He declares a strong passion for teaching, and he likes to use open-source software to solve significant modern environmental problems. He has been working on and researching several different subjects, including hydrometeorology, flood risk, hydrodynamic modeling, hydrological modeling, GIS, and remote sensing, to name a few.
