Dr. Khagendra received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand and Kyoto University in Japan, respectively. He worked as a Research Associate at AIT from June 2011 to June 2013, then as an Agro-Climate and GIS Specialist at Regional Integrated Multi-Hazards Early Warning Systems for Africa and Asia (RIMES) in Thailand from July 2013 to March 2018. He has been a Researcher at Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University since October 2021.
