Dr. Julie Mae B. Dado serves as Climate Scientist at the Regional Climate Systems Laboratory of the Manila Observatory. She earned her PhD (Science) from the Tokyo Metropolitan University, Japan. Her current focus of study are regional climate downscaling, climate extremes, and land surface change with the goal of deriving insights on the historical and future climate of the Philippines and of Southeast Asia. She is actively involved in CORDEX Southeast Asia, among other research work on climate and climate change information for sectoral impacts and adaptation.
