Jatuwat Sangsanont is a lecturer at the Department of Environmental Science, Chulalongkorn University (CU), Thailand. Before joining CU, he worked as a research associate at the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Tokyo. Currently, Sangsanont is conducting research and advising graduate students at the CU. His research focuses on pathogen monitoring in the water environment and water disinfection kinetics and mechanisms of viruses. His study aims to prevent illnesses associated with human exposure to viral contaminated water and to quantify disease risks and burdens.
