Iwan Ridwansyah is a hydrologist with a doctorate in geology from Indonesia’s Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB). He has led numerous research projects and is currently the leader of the Water Disaster Mitigation Research Group at the Research Center for Limnology of Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). He is an accomplished researcher whose research interests include the hydrology and hydrodynamics of surface water. He is skilled at describing and forecasting the behaviour of surface water flows and their pollutants using a variety of programs, including the Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT).
