Huynh Vuong Thu Minh

Can Tho University

Dr Huynh Vuong Thu Minh is a lecturer at Can Tho University. She is also a vice Deputy Head of Department of Water resources. She has 20 years of experience in teaching subjects related to applied hydrology and nearly 5 years of research on GIS and remote sensing applications. She earned her PhD degree in the Graduate School of Environmental Science at Hokkaido University in 2019. She has participated in many projects of CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation), ACIAR (Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research), and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), and now she is coordinating the Mare project (Marine Coastal and Delta Sustainability for Southeast Asia) for Can Tho University, and she is the leader of the project to propose effective solutions to manage surface water resources for mountainous districts in the Mekong Delta, 2-year (2020-2021), granted by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
