Hewen Niu was born in Dec. 1985, he got his bachelor degree in June 2009 from Lanzhou Jiaotong University. He obtained his doctorate degree from the College of Earth Environmental Sciences, Lanzhou University in June 2014. In July, he worked at State Key Laboratory of Cryospheric Science, Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research scopes include Cryospheric environment and chemistry, atmospheric carbonaceous aerosol, tropopause aerosols, etc.
