Hendra Saputra is a lecturer and the Head of the Civil Engineering Department with expertise in photogrammetry, UAVs, LiDAR, and geospatial mapping. Since 2015, he has been actively leading research, laboratory development, and international collaborations with Kyoto University, Yamaguchi University, and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). He also founded the Center for Photogrammetry and Geospatial Information Studies to strengthen research on coastal abrasion monitoring, land subsidence, and peatland change. In addition to teaching, he is also involved in various environmental and infrastructure consultancy projects and continuously promote technological-based research downstreaming.
