Hendra Bakti is a senior researcher at the Indonesia National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). He is a hydrogeologist with extensive research experience, most notably in Indonesian coastal areas and small islands. Not only has Hendra been active in conducting research with the Indonesian researchers, but he has also been active in collaborating with Japanese and Germanist scientists. He has numerous research articles published in international and national journals. He earned a bachelor’s degree in geology from Indonesia’s Veterans National Development University (UPN), and a master’s degree in groundwater engineering from the Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB).
