Dr. Vien’s research focus and interests include: New Institution Economics and Governance of Natural Resources and Environment; Economics of Land Property Rights, Land Policies, Land Uses, Urbanization, Livelihoods, and Rural Development; Livelihood Adaptation to Climate Change. Regarding teaching, his teaching areas are Resource and Environmental Economics, Resource Tenure and Resource Management, Theories and Concepts in Sustainable Development, Project Management, and Research Methodology.
