Gom Dorji

Mr Gom Dorji is a lecturer at the College of Science and Technology, Royal University of Bhutan. He has MSc. in Electrical Engineering specialization in Power system engineering from Frederick University, Nicosia, Cyprus in 2017 and a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Science and Technology (CST), Royal University of Bhutan, Bhutan in 2015. Mr Dorji has served as Department Secretary for 2 years. He has supervised more than 8 final year project works (Thesis) for BE Electrical Engineering. He has authored or co-authored about 9 publications in reputed journals and conferences in renewable energy fields. He has also won the best poster during a conference presentation in 2015. He is the membership committee for technical seminars, introduction to research and final year project evaluation at CST. His research interests are mainly in smart grid integrations and challenges, renewable energies integration and protection, power system protection, reliability and improvement of power quality issues.
