Dr. Ghulam Abbas is working as a Tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Bioscience at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. He has explored genetic diversity in various crops regarding their tolerance against salinity, heavy metals, drought and heat stress. Moreover, he is working on alternative cropping systems for food security under changing climate and rehabilitation and management of salt affected soils.,. Dr. Abbas has earned many national and international projects and has published more than 80 research articles in leading journals. He has 10 years of experience in teaching and supervising research students at under- and post-graduate levels.
