Dr Faye Abigail Cruz is a climate scientist, and currently Head of the Regional Climate Systems Laboratory at the Manila Observatory in the Philippines. She is actively involved in atmospheric and climate research in the Philippines, as well as in Southeast Asia, where she is one of the Points of Contact of CORDEX Southeast Asia. With her extensive experience in regional climate modelling and data analysis, she continues to work on projects with scientists and various stakeholders to provide enhanced climate change information for climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. Dr Cruz was also a Lead Author in the IPCC AR6 Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis.
