Dr. Davaasambuu Erdenebayar graduated National University of Mongolia in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and a Bachelor’s in Advanced Security Research Management from the Joint International Security Research College, Germany and the United States, in 2009.  He received a Master’s degree in Economics in 2011, and his PhD degree in Business Management in 2020 at School of Business, National University of Mongolia, Mongolia.

He is a Director of Regional and Industrial Integrated Policy and Planning Department of the Ministry of Economy and Development. His research interest is focused on regional industrial development policy, regional development, poverty reduction at regional and national level and national policies on industrial development, food security, spatial planning and integration so on. He is also member of Future Earth National Committee for Mongolia.
