Dr Dmitri Vershinin is an Associate Professor at the Department of Hydrology, Tomsk State University. His main scientific activity is computer modelling and prognosis of hydrological processes in mountain and lowland rivers in the Asian region. Dr Vershinin has managed and is responsible for numerous Russian and international research projects on seasonal floods in Siberian rivers and related hazards.
