Didin Agustian Permadi

He is an assistant professor at the Environmental Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology (ITENAS) Bandung, Indonesia. He obtained his PhD degree from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) with the research on the interaction between air pollution and climate change. His research of interest is mainly on the application of a 3-dimensional chemistry transport model, emission inventory, environmental impact assessment and monitoring. His papers were published in highly recognized scientific international journals. He has more than 16 book chapters to his credit. He was selected twice as the winner in the student paper competitions of 2007 and 2011 by the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) West Coast Section. He served as a trainer in many international training in the fields of emission inventory and air quality monitoring and modellings such as those provided for the Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) staffs, Government of Bhutan, North Korean DPRK, and Male Declaration participating countries. Professionally, he is engaged with the international scientific communities as an early career scientist member of The International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) the Asian Network on Climate Science and Technology (ANCST).
