He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, USA, awarded in 2009, and a BTech in Chemical Engineering from A.C. Tech, Anna University, Chennai, India. His work focuses on sustainable waste management practices, waste segregation and recycling systems, and the development of renewable biofuels, contributing to resource recovery, environmental sustainability and the circular bioeconomy.
