Dr. Dede Sulaeman serves as the Deputy Director of Land Expansion and Provision at the Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia. He is an expert in environmental protection, economics, and agricultural land management, playing a key role in nationwide regulations on agriculture, spatial planning, and land management. He has contributed to numerous agricultural practice guidelines for various ministries in Indonesia. As a member of the Indonesian National Committee for the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (KNI-ICID), he co-initiated the Clean Irrigation Movement with the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and farming communities. This initiative has gained national and international recognition.
