Decky Indrawan Junaedi is a Senior Researcher at Research Centre for Biota Systems, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. He holds a PhD degree from the University of Melbourne, and a bachelor’s from IPB University. He has over 19 years of experience in plant ecology research. His research focuses on ecology and management of invasive plant species as well as threatened plant species, plant conservation, and eco-physiological studies to explain exotic species naturalization and invasion processes. His expertise includes bio-statistic with Bayesian approaches, quantitative ecological modelling, and invasive species risk assessment. At present, he is the Director of the Research Centre for Biota Systems, BRIN. Since 2019, he supervised graduate and postgraduate students (S1, S2, and S3) from Universitas Padjadjaran, IPB University, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Universitas Indonesia.
