Prof. Xi Chun is currently the director of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Mongolia Plateau’s Climate System and the Physical Geography major in the College of Geographical Sciences, Inner Mongolia Normal University, China. He earned his PhD degree in Science from Lanzhou University, China. His research interests are climate and environmental change in arid zones. He has been hosted and involved in many national projects for studying climate change and lake evolution.
